About the NSWSES Volunteers Association
In 1998 Greg Perry who was a volunteer Division Controller, saw the need for a means where by the voice of the volunteers could be represented at State Headquarters and with the Government. After many discussions with State Headquarters and other volunteers the New South Wales State Emergency Service Volunteers Association (SESVA) was formed. Technical input at the formation came from Dieter Gescke and Pat Clague. The Constitution was then written and Division Delegates were saught .
From its inception the SESVA has been all about the volunteers.
