As the intense low pressure system crossed the southern states over the weekend, heavy rains fell across areas of South West NSW. These rains have resulted in flooding for a number of the rivers in the Murray Region.

Current operations being conducted by SES volunteers on the South Coast are focussed on the completion of outstanding Requests for Assistance (RFAs) resulting from the weekend's severe weather.

Volunteers will continue to assist communities in the aftermath of the Father's Day wind storm event that resulted in 2600 requests for assistance across NSW.
